Bankies young and old are being encouraged to go back in time with some free Roman-themed park activities next week.
West Dunbartonshire Arts and Heritage are putting on Antonine Adventures in Goldenhill Park across three days starting on Tuesday, August 1.
The event - put on in partnership with West Dunbartonshire Greenspace - is a chance for youngsters and history buffs alike to immerse themselves in all things Antonine, including the famous Golden Hill Fort.
On Tuesday, August 1, there will be a Roman-themed craft session in the park.
Then, on Thursday, August 3, a heritage walk will teach those in attendance about the history of the Romans and the area.
Finally, on Friday, August 4, there is a family Sketch'n'Stroll around the park, asking folk to draw the local landscapes with artist Iona Grey.
You can book the Sketch'n'Stroll here.
Despite a very small section of the western defences of the fort still being visible, the superb view offered from the trig point at the top of GoldenHill makes the site a worthwhile visit.
