A NEW bike hire station has been installed in Knightswood ahead of the UCI Cycling World Championships.
Bike share operator nextbike, which runs the OVO Bikes scheme, confirmed that the new station is located at Knightswood Park.
It is one of three stations to be added to nextbike’s network across the city in preparation for the event, which officially kicks off on August 3.

- London Road Central
- Broomhill Cross
A nextbike spokesperson said: “In preparation for the 2023 Cycling World Championships in Glasgow, we installed three new stations at Knightswood Park, London Road Central, and Broomhill Cross.
“We are looking forward to supporting the people of Glasgow and visitors to the city in getting around the city by bike.”
