FEARS have been raised that “someone could be killed” after another bus came under ‘attack’ in Clydebank.
An eyewitness told the Post that the vehicle – reported to be a 1D service from Mountblow to Glasgow – was damaged after an object was launched at it on Saturday.
As a result of the incident, two of the bus’s windows were smashed.
A local resident has since voiced concerns that someone could be badly hurt if these 'attacks' continue.
They said: “They are going to badly maim or kill someone. This is the fourth time in three weeks apparently.
"We will lose this service if this continues.”
FirstBus Glasgow confirmed that the vehicle has since been removed from service as it undergoes repairs.
The operator added that no one was injured during the incident.
A FirstBus spokesperson said: “We can confirm that an incident took place on Saturday, July 29 during which one of our vehicles was vandalised and two windows broken.
“No one was injured and the bus has been removed from service in order to be repaired.”
