A community group is set to host its first 'festival' in two years in a much-loved local greenspace.
Kingsway Community Connections (KCC) will welcome all at their Harvest Festival at the Danes Drive Park site at the start of September.
The group have a stack of fun activities for festival revellers including bungee trampolines, a wellness zone, a climbing wall and a comedy show.
Everything is free and the aim is to celebrate the harvest of Kingsway's community garden.
KCC is a community-led, community development centre based at 50 Kingsway Court.
They were set up by local people in 2000, for local people and offer free activities, services, events, and groups which benefit an individual's personal growth and wellness.

- - stand-up comedy show with local headliner Graham Mackie (Backbone Comedy)
- - wellness zone with yoga, meditation, mindfulness, and massage
- - the whole family can get stuck into loose parts play with Operation Play Outdoors - use random, everyday objects and your imagination to play, build and explore.
- - information stalls hosted by fantastic local organisations like DRC Generations, Glasgow Association of Mental Health, Glasgow Community Food Network
- - cycling skills with Glasgow Eco Trust
- - caricature artist from Scottish Cartoon Art Studio
- - lots of food
The festival will take place between 1pm and 4pm on Saturday, September 2.
