A FIRE STATION in Clydebank is inviting residents to their open day this weekend.
Firefighters will be hosting their first open day at Clydebank Community Fire Station on Kilbowie Road tomorrow (August 19) from 12-4pm.
The free event is expected to be a fun-filled day for local families in the area as there will be a bouncy castle, beat the goalie, face painting - and even a dunk tank!
The crew and community safety team hold a chip pan fire demonstration unit which illustrates the dangers of cooking with too much oil, what happens when the oil gets too hot and what happens if water was to be applied to the pan when alight.
And plenty of home baking will be on offer as well as a raffle with great prizes.
