EMERGENCY services are currently tackling a building fire in Drumchapel.
Firefighters responded to Belsyde Avenue after the alarm was raised shortly after 5pm.
An eyewitness told the Post it appears as though the fire could have started at the former Stonedyke Neighbourhood Community Centre.
A Scottish Fire and Rescue Service (SFRS) spokesperson confirmed four appliances were sent to the scene and that crews remain in attendance.
Local residents have taken to social media to report smoke is heavy in the area.
An SFRS spokesperson said: "We received a call at around 5.06pm on September 2, 2023 to reports of a dwelling fire on Belsyde Avenue in Drumchapel, Glasgow.
"Operations control mobilised four appliances to the scene.
"Crews are still in attendance."
The Scottish Ambulance Service has been contacted for comment.
