Fire crews were called to assist an alleged drug arrest after police raised concerns about "chemicals within the property."
Last week, the Clydebank Post told about the arrest of a Dalmuir man on alleged drug charges after a police raid at a property.
The incident, which took place on the evening of Thursday, September 7, was a police-led operation on a flat at Durban Avenue.
And now it has emerged that two fire crews were mobilised to assist cops due to their fears about what lay inside.
A Scottish Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said: "We were called to assist emergency service partners at an incident on Durban Avenue, Clydebank on Thursday, 7 September at 3.52pm.
"Operations control mobilised two appliances to the scene."
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “On Thursday, September 7, officers attended a flat in Durban Avenue, Clydebank and a 36-year-old man was arrested in connection with drug offences and released pending further police enquiries."
