EMERGENCY services rushed to a derelict community centre in Drumchapel this morning.
Firefighters were called to the former Stonedyke Neighbourhood Centre following reports of a building fire at around 9am.
A Scottish Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson has since confirmed that it was a false alarm.
A statement reads: "We received a call at around 9am on Wednesday, September 13, 2023 to reports of a building fire in Belsyde Avenue, Drumchapel.
"Operations control mobilised three appliances to the scene however it was a false alarm.
"Crews left the area at around 9.14am."
It comes as we previously reported that the Belsyde Avenue building is to be demolished after it sustained significant damage in a fire earlier this month.
