A group that adopts and rehomes cats and dogs is hoping to raise much-needed funds with their ‘Curry-Oke’ night in the area.
Laura’s Paws are inviting locals for a singsong and a bite to eat when they put on their fundraising evening at the Goldenhill pub in Hardgate on Friday, October 20.
Alongside the chance to belt out your favourite tune with host Billy Jo, revellers will be able to enjoy a game of bingo, a tombola, a raffle and a chance to win prizes with lip-syncing.
There will also be a silent auction as well as a Chinese and Indian buffet.
The charity – which currently has 126 dogs and cats in rescue shelters - has been running for a year and needs funding to help them pay for vet bills, food and shelter for the pets.
Tickets are £10 and can be purchased from the link here.
