THE Flourishing Faifley squad were in a frightful mood at the weekend as they held their annual pumpkin pick.
Kids from Faifley and the wider Clydebank area descended on the community group's secret garden for an afternoon of free fun which included picking their pumpkins, food and drink, games, and even a snake.
The afternoon was aided by the visit of Sense of Nature who provided the snake and the creepy crawlies and Hootenanny Owls who had some birds of prey in the garden.
Despite the cold weather, the sun stayed out, ensuring the 437 parents and kids had a spooktacular time.
The garden was decorated with some scary decorations ahead of next week's Hallowe'en and the youngsters were given tips on how to carve their pumpkin ahead of the big night.
The day was supported by Knowes Housing Association, Caledonia Housing Association, Titan Groundwork and Landscaping Ltd, Duntocher Tyre Services, MJM Property Services Limited, Clydebank Asda as well as People's Health Trust.
Davy Holt also organised and delivered the bails of hay at the last minute.
Faifley Community Allotments supplied the pumpkins.
Another fantastic event for a group who do so much for the local community.
Well done everyone.
