A CAR was deliberately set on fire in Old Kilpatrick on Monday night (October 23).
Police and fire crews rushed to the scene of the blaze on Lusset Road at around 9.25pm where the vehicle fire was extinguished with no injuries.
Detectives say they are keen to trace a man seen in the area around the time of the incident.
He is described as being around 5ft 8inch to 6ft in height and was wearing a dark hooded top with his hood up, blue jogging bottoms and dark trainers.
Detective Constable Darren Campbell, of Clydebank CID, said: “Thankfully, no- one was injured as a result of this completely reckless act.
“I am appealing to anyone who saw anything suspicious in the area at the time or who may have private CCTV or dash-cam footage that could assist with our enquiries to get in touch.”
