THE town's top-of-the-table football club are calling on Bankies new and old to head along to Holm Park this weekend.
Clydebank ended a ten-year hoodoo last Saturday as they overcame last season's West of Scotland Football League champions Beith in an impressive display in front of 773 fans.
Now, with 2021/22 champions Darvel visiting Clydebank on Saturday, club bosses are hoping for a bumper crowd to help shout the lads on to victory.
To achieve this, they are branding the upcoming match against the Ayrshire side as 'Bring a Friend' day, hoping to unearth some new Bankies followers.
With the game taking place the day before Remembrance Sunday, the club have also been working this week with the club's 'Ultra fans', the lads who play the drums most Saturdays in an attempt to create an atmosphere.
This group of fans will be unveiling a display on Saturday to remember those who fought in the war.
They have also asked fans to dress in black as a mark of respect and there will be a foodbank and Christmas toy appeal on offer.
Advance tickets are available through the app here or at the door on the day.
Any local groups interested in attending should contact the UCS Trust trust@clydebankfc.com to see what we can arrange.
