Drumchapel residents have been hit by a blackout this evening after a power outage across the G15 postcodes and beyond.
Scottish Power confirmed people living in Drumchapel are without electricity after a fault was experienced at around 5.48pm.
However, reports on social media said power cuts had been reported in other areas of Glasgow, with people stating they were without lights in Maryhill, Bearsden, Bishopbriggs, Lennoxtown and Milngavie.
The energy supplier said they have engineers out trying to fix the fault, which they will also be trying to sort remotely.
Scottish Power have been approached for an update.
