A Drumchapel social enterprise is promising prizes galore as it hosts a special fundraising night.
Enable Glasgow Fortune Works is taking over the Goodyear Social Club on Saturday, January 27 for a fun night of raffles, games, auctions, and musical entertainment all for a great cause.
Money raised on the night will be used by the service, which supports 120 adults with a learning disability, to purchase much-needed new equipment.
Organisers say there will be some celebrity appearances on the night but are remaining tight-lipped on who the special guests are.
Jason Methven, Fortune Works Social Enterprise Coordinator, said they are still collecting raffle prizes and tickets are on sale now.
He said: “We are really excited to be hosting a fundraising night on Saturday, January 27, at the Goodyear in Drumchapel.
“We’ll have music, comedy, unique auction items, raffles and a whole load of surprises on the night.
“All the money raised on the night will go to supporting Fortune Works to buy new equipment, which will help support our amazing service users.
“Tickets are already selling and there seems to be a real buzz about the event, so we are hopeful people come along and have a good night, donate a few quid and support our work. We are a real Drumchapel institution, so it would be great if the community could come to support us.”
The night, which starts at 7pm and runs till late, is supported by drinks giant Edrington, and many people have already donated amazing prizes.
Jason added: “We are really grateful to everyone who has donated prizes so far, we have everything from football memorabilia from Celtic and Rangers, whisky and vouchers, but if you would like to donate please get in touch.”
Tickets can be purchased from Fortune Works for £10 here.
Carers, support staff or family members supporting on the night are £5 entry.
