Two people have been rushed to hospital after an early morning road smash outside a Clydebank college campus.
The incident on Glasgow Road at Queens Quay near West College Scotland happened just before 8am on Monday.
Witnesses described the westbound section of the busy road as being reduced to one lane, with traffic tailing back for miles.
A Scottish Ambulance Service spokesperson said: "We received a call at 7.54am to attend an incident on Dumbarton Road, Clydebank.
"Three special operations response teams (SORT) and two ambulances were dispatched to the scene and two patients were transported to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital."
It is yet unclear how many vehicles were involved in the crash.
