A PENSIONER was attacked whilst she walked her dog in Old Kilpatrick.
The 66-year-old woman was on the public footpath on Freelands Crescent at 8.20pm on Monday, December 4, when she was pushed to the ground by a man.
The man, who fled the area, is described as being white and of slim build and is said to have been wearing dark smart trousers and a black hooded jacket with blue stripes underneath both armpits when he carried out the assault.
He was also in possession of a black and beige husky dog.
Now, police are hoping anyone living nearby the footpath might be able to help with their enquiries into catching the man.
An appeal was launched today.
Constable Stuart McKay said: “I am appealing for the help of the public to trace the suspect.
“I would urge anyone who witnessed the incident and has not yet spoken with officers or anyone who thinks they may have seen the man to get in touch.
“Anyone with information is asked to contact police via 101 quoting incident number 0654 of December 4.”
