A CLYDEBANK entertainment venue has announced it is expanding – with two new additions to its offering hoping to bring new jobs to the area.

The Hardgate House Function Suite revealed they are adding a function suite to the site at the end of January to go alongside their current large function hall.

And, in further big news, the Hardgate roundabout venue says they are opening up 18 new “beautifully presented” hotel bedrooms for guests to stay when they have travelled from further afield.

In a post on their Facebook, they wrote: “With our large function hall already in high demand and limited availability we are delighted to announce our brand-new additional function suite opening end of January.

“This hall is for smaller more intimate gatherings seating 80 people and catering for everything from funerals, christenings, communions, celebrations and much more.

“But wait, that’s not all, we are also excited to announce our brand new hotel rooms.

“Yes, you heard it right. 

“Eighteen beautifully presented bedrooms, perfect for those travelling from afar to your functions. Available seven days a week for business or social travel.

“Bookings are now open for 2024.”

Locals shared their delight at the news and the pictures the Hardgate House team posted.

One wrote: “Fabulous news, love the fact that it has been brought back to life.

“Bringing job opportunities and community together.”

Another added: “I’ve missed having a nice wee function suite in Clydebank, can’t wait to see the transformation in full looking good.”
