Supermarket giant Asda has announced that it will be opening a new location in Clydebank later this month.
This comes as the company rolls out 21 convenience stores across the UK.
These new locations form part of a programme by the brand to convert previously acquired Co-op and EG Group locations into Asda Express stores.

The new Asda Express location in Clydebank will open on January 30, 2024, on Great Western Road.
The full address is 2333 Great Western Rd, Clydebank, G81 2XT by the Shell petrol station.

The Asda Express location in Clydebank will open on January 30, 2024.
Speaking of the openings, Andy Perry, Asda’s Vice President of Convenience, said: “After pausing our convenience rollout during the festive period, the programme is now in full swing once more.
"We have exciting plans to accelerate the programme over the next couple of months with the aim of converting all 470 stores acquired from the Co-op and EG Group to Asda Express before the end of Q1 [qaurter one].
"We are looking forward to opening our doors and welcoming customers in new locations right across the UK.”
