Hundreds of homes in the area could be without water for hours after a burst water pipe interrupted supply.
Residents with a G13 postcode may notice disruption to their water until around 5.30 pm on Friday evening after supplier Scottish Water reported the problem just before 3 pm.
That means homes in Drumchapel, Knightswood and Scotstoun may find their water cut off or experience low/intermittent pressure or discoloured water.
A Scottish Water statement said: “The full repair will take an estimated 3 hours from now to complete.
“The water supply will gradually return to normal for customers once the repair has been completed. We expect it will take up to 3 hours for all customers to have their normal water supply restored.”
It follows a similar problem in Clydebank on Thursday, where a separate burst pipe caused problems in the middle of the afternoon.
