A local driving test centre is set to reopen in the coming months after it was temporarily closed last year. 

In November, it was announced that Anniesland Driving Test Centre had been closed after it was flooded with sewage in floodwater.

Driving instructors were initially told that the building would be shut ‘until further notice’.

During this time tests were moved to Sheildhall across the River Clyde and the nearby Netherton Community Centre.

In an update, the Driving & Vehicle Standards Agency (DVSA) told the Post that tests will begin to resume at the Anniesland centre on April 14.

In the meantime, tests will continue at Netherton Community Centre.

A DVSA spokesperson said: “The relocation from Anniesland has now been extended to Sunday, April 14 and all tests, ADI will continue to take place at the temporary location at Netherton Community Centre.”
