A Dunbartonshire business's new product will create 15 new jobs at its Clydebank HQ.
Expected to be released in the coming year, J.C. Electrical & Security Solutions Ltd has been working on the product for three and a half years in association with Edinburgh and Glasgow University.
The Chamber of Commerce member's product is a security and monitoring application that cater to different sectors and environments like healthcare and assisted care.
John Cooper, the person behind JC Electrical & Security Solutions Ltd, said: "We are delighted that we have been successful in building the business and establishing a strong position to continue to grow more in the future.
"I am extremely proud of the new product and look forward to launching this early in 2024. It is great to see all our hard work paying off on so many fronts.
"We are also really committed to giving back to our local area and communities. The Chamber’s Partner+ Programme provided an ideal way for us to do this.
"We have really appreciated all the help and support being a member of the Chamber has given us and are keen to support their ongoing activities and, in particular, the Building Bridges programme."
The company's recent collaboration with Dunbartonshire Chamber of Commerce led to the sponsorship of Lomond Radio, a fellow chamber member and non-profit community radio station.
Damon Scott, chief executive of Dunbartonshire Chamber of Commerce, said: "We are incredibly grateful for the support John and JC Electrical and Security Solutions are providing. It will help support the development of skills in West Dunbartonshire and provide a link between schools and business.
"We have already started developing some really exciting connections and ideas for an academy-style pilot with Clydebank High School.
“We are also delighted to be working with John to develop supply chain contacts and are connecting him into the opportunities offered by the Scottish Chambers International Trade Programme. We hope that this will help with the roll-out of his new product in 2024.”
