Talented youngsters will be lacing up their shoes and hitting the tarmac in support of the town’s musical society next month.
Members of Clydebank Musical Society (CMS) will be taking part in a sponsored ‘Pink Walk’ on Saturday, March 2.
The group will walk from Glasgow Green to their studio in Dalmuir - around eight and a half miles - in an effort to raise £1,250 to put on their own production of Legally Blonde.
Bosses at CMS launched a GoFundMe page recently noting that the reason behind the walk is ‘rising bills’.
A statement reads: “With our show bills getting closer to £40k per show we need help fundraising and support to keep bringing local theatre to you.
“We’re getting out there and doing our Pink Walk on March 2, walking from Glasgow Green to our premises in Dalmuir.”
