FAMILIES are being warned that a road outside a Clydebank primary school could close for up to five days.
West Dunbartonshire Council (WDC) announced the move on its website yesterday.
Jowitt Avenue, near Linnvale Primary, is to shut to traffic from 9am on Friday, March 29 from its kerb line with Livingstone Street.
WDC notes that the restrictions - no waiting, loading, or unloading - could be in place for up to five days.
They may also only be applied as and when required and will be kept to a minimum.
It is understood that the closure is to allow for an HGV delivery to be completed safely.
Emergency vehicle access will be maintained but could be prevented or delayed.
Pedestrian and local access will also be maintained.
