A teenager was allegedly caught with three weapons including a knife after being stopped in Clydebank.
The 19-year-old had been in the passenger seat of a vehicle that was pulled over by traffic cops shortly after 10pm on Saturday.
Officers said the vehicle, a black Mitsubishi, had reportedly been spotted speeding on Glasgow Road before turning onto North Elgin Street.
It was then traced nearby and two male occupants were found within.
Checks were run on the driver, a 24-year-old man, which allegedly found that the vehicle had no insurance.
Police said there was also reportedly a smell of alcohol from the driver.
He allegedly failed a breath test and was arrested in connection with alleged drink driving and driving without insurance.
The vehicle was seized.
A search of the teenager reportedly uncovered a knife, a knuckle duster, and an unregistered air weapon.
Both men were taken to Clydebank police station where they were charged and released.
The duo are expected to appear at Dumbarton Sheriff Court next month.
