CANDIDATES have been chosen to fight the West Dunbartonshire constituency during next month's General Election.
Eight parties have selected who will contest the vote on Thursday, July 4.
The election was called by Prime Minister Rishi Sunak last month.
Candidates for the West Dunbartonshire constituency in the General Election
- Martin Docherty-Hughes - Scottish National Party
- Douglas McAllister - The Labour Party
- Maurice Corry - The Conservative and Unionist Party
- Paul Kennedy - Liberal Democrats
- David Smith - Reform UK
- Paula Baker - The Green Party
- Andrew Muir - Scottish Family Party
- Kelly Wilson - Sovereignty
This election will be decided using the First Past the Post system where voters select their preferred candidate and the person with the most votes wins.
Residents in West Dunbartonshire will be able to vote between 7am and 10pm on the day.
The polling station you are assigned to depends on where you live in the constituency.
Voters are encouraged to check which station they should head along to.
