A group of adult learners from West Dunbartonshire have gained national recognition for their work promoting adult learning.
West Dunbartonshire's Learner Voice Group received the Special Recognition award at this year's Adult Learner's Week awards ceremony.
The group was praised for their efforts in highlighting the positive impact of adult learning and raising awareness among the community and politicians.
Chief officer of housing and employability, Peter Barry said: "It was an absolute delight to find out that West Dunbartonshire’s Learner Voice Group was again recognised by Scotland’s Learning Partnership for their commitment to community learning in West Dunbartonshire and beyond.
"The timely award reflects the hard work, dedication and passion for learning by the group and is well deserved.
"Their efforts, as volunteers, are very much appreciated and we look forward to their continued input to plans and initiatives in the future.
"Congratulations to all involved in this incredible achievement."
