A Clydebank soft play centre has shut its doors.
Monkey Madness on John Knox Street announced its closure on Friday and ceased trading on Sunday, June 16.
However, the centre has teased that it's "not the last dance for the Mojo monkey" and has revealed plans to open a new soft play five times bigger than the previous one in a new location.
The date for when the plans are approved is unconfirmed.
Taking to social media, the business said: "We would like to take this opportunity to thank every customer that has ever walked through our doors. It has given us great pleasure in serving you. We would also like to thank our dedicated, helpful and caring staff over the years that have put in a lot of time and effort.
"This is not the last dance for Mojo the monkey, he will be back soon with his sleeves rolled up, hard hat on ready to work and a new project across the road."
Members of the community took to Facebook to announce their shock with the post receiving more than 180 comments.
One user wrote: "This is so sad this place has been around for mine and my son's generation...many birthday parties attended and memories made."
Another user wrote: "End of an era. As an ex-childminder, I spent many a morning and afternoon with fellow minders and mindees. Good luck with your new venture."
A third user added: "My favourite place to bring my three grandkids to, great staff and as always friendly so thank you for letting us make memories for all these years."
