DRIVERS have been warned of a road closure in Clydebank next month.

Barns Street will be shut from Sunday, July 28 for up to five days to allow Scottish Water to install ironworks.

West Dunbartonshire announced the closure on their website.

The disruption will be in place from the extended kerb line with Dunmore St in a westerly direction, for a distance of 25 metres or thereby.

Only emergency vehicles, those permitted by signs and those engaged in authorised road works will be allowed entry.

All restrictions may only be applied in part, as and when signed/required, and will be kept to a minimum.

Access to all property and for pedestrians will be maintained.
