999 services were called to a deliberate fire at a primary school playground.
Emergency crews were called to the blaze at Kilbowie Primary School in Clydebank on Friday evening.
GlasgowLive reports that a large fire tore through a blue hut in the middle of the school's playground.
They added that black smoke was seen pouring out of the space, which is believed to be used by pupils during break times.
Officers are carrying out enquiries and they have determined that the fire was set deliberately.
An investigation is continuing into what happened.
A spokesperson said: “We received a report of a fire at a premises on West Thomson Street, Clydebank, around 6.55pm on Friday, June 28, 2024.
"The fire is being treated as wilful and enquiries are ongoing.”
