A water pipe in Clydebank has burst this morning.

UPDATE: Repairs are now complete. Residents may experience discoloured water and are encouraged to run the cold kitchen tap at half pressure until it runs clear.

Scottish Water has posted on X that they are attending to a burst water pipe in the G81 postcode.

Cochno Road was then closed at around 9.30 am for repairs to take place.

First Bus Glasgow announced they had diverted their 81 service before the road reopened around an hour later.

There may be some interruption to the water supply nearby.

Repairs are expected to be completed by 11.15am.

The water supply will gradually return to normal once the pipe is fixed.
