A ROAD in Clydebank is set to close for up to five days at the end of the month.

Jura Road will be shut from Friday, July 26 to allow for Scottish Water to carry out ironwork repairs.

West Dunbartonshire Council announced the closure on their website.

The disruption will be in place from the western extended kerb line with Jura Place, for a distance of 30 metres or thereby.

Only emergency vehicles, those permitted by signs and those engaged in authorised road works will be allowed entry.

All restrictions may only be applied in part, as and when signed/required, and will be kept to a minimum.

Access to all property and for pedestrians will be maintained.
