Bankies are invited to a local gig with a special tribute act called 'Simply Rod.'
Community Spirit are hosting their very own Rod Stewart night on August 30, 2024, at the Albion Social Club.
The group usually gets together every Monday from 12pm and aims to tackle loneliness and promote being social in the community.
Every month they host special nights to provide an opportunity for those who might not be able to attend on a Monday to get out to an event.
This month the tribute act is 'Simply Rod' performed by James Frew who has over nine years of experience playing the Maggie May crooner.
This follows up on last month when they had a Freddie Mercury tribute.
Tickets are on sale now for £6.00 and can be bought at the Albion Social Club in advance.
The kitchen will be open to serve up food on the night and a raffle will be held.
The door opens at 7.30pm and the night is due to end around midnight.
