AN investigation has been launched after youths set fires on a Clydebank street.

Police said that they received reports of wilful fire-raising at around 8.10pm on Kirkwood Avenue on Wednesday, July 17.

Cops also confirmed that enquiries are ongoing.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “We received a report of youths setting fires on Kirkwood Avenue, Clydebank, around 8.10pm on Wednesday, July 17, 2024.

“The incident is being treated as wilful and enquiries are ongoing.”
