AN OAP has been convicted of sexually assaulting a woman in Clydebank.
Robert Littler, of North Bank Street, was found guilty by a jury of sexually assaulting a woman, kissing her on the body, touching her on the body, placing his hand inside her underwear and touching her vagina.
The jury deleted part of the charge that he penetrated her sexually with his fingers.
He had denied the charge.
The 70-year-old was found guilty by a majority after a short trial at Dumbarton Sheriff Court this week.
He committed the assault at a property in the town between January 17 and 18, 2017.
Sheriff Anthony McGeehan continued Littler's bail and called for reports on the pensioner before sentencing on August 27.
He will be on the sex offenders register in the interim.
