A man who was riding an e-scooter in a retail park in Dumbarton had his bike seized after allegedly riding with no insurance.

A 27-year-old was stopped by police officers after riding on a main road at St James Retail Park at around 1.40pm on Saturday, August 17.

Once stopped the scooter was confirmed as electronically powered and checks were carried out on the rider.

The male was then identified as allegedly having no insurance, no crash helmet and was failing to display 'L' plates.

The scooter was seized by police and the male was reported.
