Legendary band Oasis has announced a reunion tour next year with two dates in Scotland.

The Manchester group previously teased that they would be getting back together with a cryptic social media post stating the date of August 27 at 8am.

Now Noel and Liam Gallagher have confirmed that they are back and going on tour together for the first time since the group disbanded in 2009. 

The Supersonic hitmakers will play Murrayfield Stadium in Edinburgh on August 8 and 9, 2025.

 

Tickets go on sale on Saturday, August 31 at 9am BST. 

The UK and Ireland tour will also visit Manchester’s Heaton Park, London’s Wembley Stadium and Dublin’s Croke Park throughout July and August.

Noel, 57, quit the Manchester rock group on August 28 2009, saying he “simply could not go on working with Liam a day longer”.

Fans have been pleading with the brothers to regroup since they disbanded, prompted by a backstage brawl at the Rock en Seine festival in Paris.

Reunion rumours have intensified recently after they teased an announcement for 8am on Tuesday, and reports that the feuding brothers were ending their disagreement.

Confirming the Oasis Live 25 tour, they said: “The guns have fallen silent. The stars have aligned. The great wait is over. Come see. It will not be televised.”

 

Both brothers have flourished with their own projects since the band split, with ten UK #1 albums between them as well as countless festival headline sets and stadium and arena shows.

The new reunion tour coincides with the 30th anniversary of their debut album ‘Definitely Maybe’ while 2025 will see the second record ‘(What’s The Story) Morning Glory?’ reach that same anniversary.
