A 7-year-old boy from Clydebank has a unique hobby of being an entertainment wrestler.

Aaron Jacob first started doing 'WWE-style' wrestling when he saw a TikTok from the Glasgow School of Wrestling.

Mum, Marianne, explained how he couldn't settle on what he enjoyed doing after trying out football, rugby and other sports but never stuck it.

However, things have changed as he has 'come out of his shell' after starting at the school.

Marianne said: "It was about a year and a half ago he signed up for the school. He's always been interested in watching WWE since he was about three.

"I didn't even know that there was such a thing as a wrestling school for that age group, so I hadn't looked into it.

"He absolutely loves it and when he first started he was very, very shy. He wouldn't really speak to the group, and always sort of kept himself to himself.

"But in the last 18 months, he has come out of his shell so much and he absolutely loves it.

"They have done amazing things and it's changed, not only in life but our lives as a family."

To add to the tale Marianne met her now fiance through the wrestling school at an event. The school put on shows around Scotland and when attending a show in Helensburgh Aaron was desperate to get a wrestler's autograph.

"The company do shows all over Scotland and it was at one of the Helensburgh shows and Aaron would go up at the end of all the shows and get autographs. He still does it to this day, just purely to get an autograph, and that's how I met him."

The school's next show will be in West Primary in Paisely on September 7.
