A van driver has been charged with various offences including drug possession after failing to stop for police.

At a road check in Clydebank, officers attempted to pull over a Ford Transit on Saturday, September 7.

The force says the man failed to stop and after being traced he then allegedly failed a roadside drugs wipe.

The 36-year-old was then charged with various traffic offences including no insurance, no license, failing to stop, failing a drugs wipe and possession of drugs.

A day later, cops seized two other vehicles for no insurance and the drivers having no licence.
