1. Strictly fever hit Clydebank
A salsa dancing class teacher told of a rush of students after the BBC show began. Her classes soon filled up with fans queneing to emulate the show's stars.
2. Primary school pupils took part in a sponsored bounce
Kids at Clydemuir Primary bounded around to raise funds for charity. The money raised went to the Harvest for Hungry a group that helps those in poverty in Eastern Europe.
3. Longest running road department worker honoured
The longest-serving member of West Dunbartonshire's road department was honoured with a special send-off for his retirement. Willie Young retired at 64 after working as a JCB operator for 50 years.
4. Clydebank artist held an exhibition where proceeds went to charity
Josephine Torrance took part in the artists for Mary's Meals which was held in the Iain McGregor Fine Art Gallery. The whole exhibition raised over £10,000.
5. Primary school took part in the world's biggest coffee morning
Pupils at Our Lady of Loretto Primary took part in the morning joined by their mums, dads and guardians. Funds from the event went to Macmillan Cancer Support.
6. Pupils' first full week at school
Primary ones tried out their school canteen joined by friends and family. The youngsters at Edinbarnet Primary became full-time after a transition into the school.
