A library in Clydebank is to be relocated to a new site by the end of next month.
Parkhall Library is to move within an area of Clydebank High School as part of a money saving strategy from West Dunbartonshire Council.
The new space will be located in the existing school library and will open to the community after the school day has finished, operating Wednesday to Friday from 4pm to 7pm each week.
In a letter sent to the local community council, the authority said they are "facing significant financial pressure" and that they have to "consider ways of saving money while still delivering the vital services our residents rely on."

The new space is said to be fully staffed and will offer similar facilities to the current Parkhall Library including books for children and young people, audiobooks on CD, free to use computers and internet access.
The school's library will continue to operate in the adjacent space as it is currently.
Work to prepare the space is to take place in the coming weeks and it's anticipated the new space will be ready by the end of October.
Meanwhile, residents are being redirected to Dalmuir Library which is less than a mile away. and open six days a week.
