A ROAD in Clydebank is set to close for up to five days next week.

Birch Road will be shut from Tuesday, October 1 to allow for the installation of a new three-phase electrical service.

West Dunbartonshire Council confirmed the closure on their website.

The disruption will be in place from the southern extended kerb line with Chestnut Drive, for a distance of 35 metres or thereby.

Access to Emergency vehicles, properties and for pedestrian through traffic will be maintained, although delays are to be expected.
