JOIN us as we take a trip down memory lane to reminisce about what was happening in Clydebank fifteen years ago.

1.  A visit from the Queen

(Image: Archives) The Queen Mary 2 sailed into the River Clyde. Chief Engineer of the Cunard, Russell Keir, then gave an interview to YOUR Radio, which was broadcasting live from Ocean Terminal in Greenock.

2.  Five generations came together for a wedding

(Image: Archives) Danielle Henderson married Scott Lennox at St Margaret's Church in Knightswood. She was joined by her great granny Annie, gran Joyce, mum Carol and daughter, Faith.

3. A group of hikers walked from end to end of town

(Image: Archives) A colourful group of walkers journeyed from one end of town to the other to raise cash for a good cause. Students from the Health and Social Care course at Clydebank College raised money for Yorkhill Children's Hospital.

4. Kids learn circus skills

(Image: Archives) Pupils at Edinbarnet Primary got a special lesson in circus skills. Instructors from Fuzzy and Brittas Circus School taught the kids to spin plates, walk on stilts, juggle and ride mini bikes.

5.  Primary kids took part in a special workshop

(Image: Archives) Children at Edinbarnet Primary also got to take part in a special drama workshop. Natalie Ward led the kids in a story all about a fox and some rabbits. They even turned their school hall into a magical village featuring a butcher shop and fences.

6. Bankies raise £1,000 for good cause

(Image: Archives) Locals handed over a cheque for Cancer Research after a charity night in the Lucky Break Snooker Club on Dumbarton Road where they raised £1,000.
