A Clydebank hospital has launched a monthly café for carers of people with dementia.
NHS Golden Jubilee has teamed up with Alzheimer Scotland to create the Carer’s Café, which is open to anyone caring for a person with dementia.
The café is held in The Golden Bistro restaurant within the NHS Golden Jubilee site on the last Thursday of every month from 2.30pm to 4pm.
The hospital said the café offers a "relaxed and informal setting" for carers to enjoy a cuppa, chat, and receive peer support from others who understand the challenges of being a carer.
A spokesperson for the NHS Golden Jubilee said: "The daily challenges, stress and isolation caused by dementia can have a devastating impact on the person and those who care for them."
The hospital has also developed a strategy to promote quality care for dementia patients, including staff awareness sessions and person-centred support which recognises the individual and their carers' needs.
The hospital added: "We also have a focus on ensuring that the hospital and clinical environment is sensitive and dementia friendly."
