1. Students 'Thrill' the world
Students at Clydebank College’s HND make-up artistry course were “thrilled” to be part of a Michael Jackson-inspired World Record attempt. The students took more than two hours to complete the zombie transformations for more than 100 dancers.
2. A spooky fundraiser
St Paul’s Church in Whiteinch hosted a fun day which featured games and lots of spooky activities. All the money raised from the event went to Breast Cancer awareness.
3. Hospice champion walks the length of a canal
Henry Mitchell, from Drumry, walked the length of the Forth and Clyde Canal — nearly 30 miles — to collect sponsorship of more than £650 for St Margaret's Hospice.
4. Mental health awareness event
A special event was held to raise awareness about issues surrounding mental health. Support group Mental Health Who Cares? hosted the day at Dalmuir CE Centre.
5. Asda employees dress up for Hallowe'en
Clydebank supermarket, ASDA, employees dressed as witches, ghosts, ghouls and goblins while stocking up on spooky treats.
6. Special Robert Burns play
Hopscotch Theatre visited the children at Our Lady Loretto Primary in Dalmuir and performed ‘The Life and Times of Robert Burns’.
