A Clydebank man who sent threatening messages to his ex has been sent to a project dealing with abusive men.
Scott Bryan pleaded guilty in August to threatening and abusive behaviour that was aggravated by being against a partner or ex.
Between January 1 and April 1, 2022, at a property in Clydebank and elsewhere, he sent text messages to his ex and uttered offensive remarks and threats of violence.
The resident of Milton Douglas Road returned to Dumbarton Sheriff Court on October 15 for sentencing after reports had been prepared.
Sheriff Seith Ireland imposed a community payback order with supervision for two years by social workers. He must take part in the Caledonian Men's Programme.
A non-harassment order was imposed protecting the woman's street and her from any contact for two years.
