A woman has been fined for shouting abuse at cops arresting her in Clydebank.
Gemma Cassidy, of Ivanhoe Road, Paisley, previously pleaded guilty to acting in an aggressive manner, shouting, swearing and uttering offensive remarks to police.
The incident on June 7, 2022, happened at a flat in Second Avenue, in a police vehicle and at Clydebank police office. She was on two bail orders from Paisley Sheriff Court at the time.
The 33-year-old was ordered to behave last December and returned to Dumbarton Sheriff Court last week for sentencing.
Sheriff Maxwell Hendry said he was giving an admittedly lenient punishment.
He fined her £200 with a £10 victim surcharge. But she was warned that if she appeared in a court again, she might not be dealt with so leniently.
