1.  Rab C. Nesbitt actors visit Clydebank College to film show

(Image: Archives) Gregor Fisher and Elaine C. Smith, Rab and Mary Nesbitt, were seen filming in Clydebank College ahead of their next series which was to be broadcast in New Year 2010.

2. Young actress joins panto cast 

(Image: Archives) Corrina Buchan from Clydebank East appeared in Apollo Players' Aladdin in Glasgow over the festive period that year.

3. Stavros-inspired youngster wins big

(Image: Archives) Schoolboy, Nathan Mullen, 11, studied the dance moves of reality television star Stavros Flatley on the internet to perfect a routine which scooped him £500 at a dance-off competition at Clyde Shopping Centre.

4. Students at Clydebank College got together to raise money for sick children

(Image: Archives) Frank Lamont organised a cake sale with all the proceeds going to Yorkhill Hospital. 

5. Tots get together to raise funds for charity

(Image: Archives) Clydemuir and Our Lady of Loretto primaries in Dalmuir, Dalmuir Nursery, Gavinburn Nursery in Old Kilpatrick and Kilpatrick School in Mountblow all teamed up to raise a total of more than £5000 for Harvest for the Hungry — supporting families in poverty in Eastern Europe.

6. Council staff wear pink for charity
