A Clydebank couple celebrated their diamond wedding anniversary with a visit from the town's Provost.
Donald and Jean MacPherson marked 60 years together on October 23 with a family celebration at the Duck Bay Marina in Loch Lomond.
They were also greeted by Provost Karen Conaghan who paid them a surprise visit.
The couple have two daughters, four grandchildren and one great-granddaughter.
Donald and Jean met at the Singer sewing machine factory in 1960, where he worked as foundry metallurgist and she was a lab assistant.
They married in 1964 at Grant Street Church in Glasgow and had their honeymoon in Inverness.
The couple's first home was in Whiteinch Glasgow before moving to Fort William for a couple of years for work.

After a short stay on Fulton Street in Anniesland, the family moved to Waulking Mill Road in Faifley where they spent an amazing 12 years making many friends, who are still have in their lives today.
Moving to McGhee Street was next, where they made memories and friends over the 26 years they stayed there.
Downsizing, they made the move to their bungalow in Old Kilpatrick where they have now been for the last 18 years.
As well as Singers, Donald also worked for John Brown Engineering and Barr and Stroud limited in Anniesland.
While Jean was a carer in homes for the elderly and a clerical worker in Yorkhill Children’s Hospital before retiring.
