A new Dunbartonshire Girlguiding activity centre is set to be built, after the original was devastated by a flood.
The upcoming Catterburn Outdoor Activity Centre will replace the original Brownie House, after it suffered damage in January 2023.
Clydebank firm, Bruach Architects, has been appointed to design the building which will also be a fully accessible and inclusive space.
Lynne Gibbons, Catterburn chair for Girlguiding Dunbartonshire, said: "When the flood hit, back in January 2023, it was very upsetting.
"However, it gave us an opportunity to think how we could offer an even better experience for our girls and volunteers.
"Catterburn Brownie House held a special place in our hearts, and we look forward to seeing it come to life once again as Catterburn Outdoor Activity Centre, which will be a fully accessible and inclusive space that meets all of our girls' and volunteers' needs.
"We look forward to hearing about their vision for Catterburn.
"It's a very exciting time and we are thrilled to be working with Bruach Architects on this fantastic project."
The original Catterburn Brownie House was built in the 1980s.
It was a popular venue for pack holidays and outdoor adventures for thousands of Girlguiding Dunbartonshire members.
To ensure the new centre meets all the needs of its users, consultations will be held to gather input from the girls, their families, and volunteers.
Colin Hastie, from Bruach Architects, said: "We are delighted to be appointed to help redevelop the accommodation at Catterburn Outdoor Activity Centre, and look forward to working with adult and youth members of Girlguiding Dunbartonshire to help create a facility that will provide high quality residential and outdoor experiences to the widest range of users."
