Clydebank residents are being invited to attend a cost-of-living advice event.
Marie McNair MSP, in collaboration with Clydebank Housing Association, will hold the event on Friday, November 15 at Centre 81, Whitecrook, from 1pm to 3pm.
It aims to provide residents with the opportunity to speak with local groups and charities that can offer a wide range of support.
The event will also provide assistance to those of pension age who are at risk of losing their Winter Fuel Payment.
Ms McNair said: "During this hard time for many families, I want to help my constituents save as much money as they can this winter.
"I know many will be worried about going into the winter months due to higher energy bills.
"It can be hard to know who to go to for help when you are struggling, so this event brings together lots of local charities and national organisations who can assist you.
"You don’t have to struggle alone, there are people out there who can help.
“The UK Government’s disgraceful decision to cut the Winter Fuel Payment will also impact many pensioners in Clydebank.
"This is why I have ensured advice about this will be available and support to claim pension credit and keep the Winter Fuel Payment.
"I would really urge everyone who can, to come along. You will be welcomed in for a wee cuppa and the opportunity to have a chat with charities and organisations who can help you."
A number of organisations will be in attendance, including Scottish Gas, Social Security Scotland, Home Energy Scotland, and West Dunbartonshire Citizens Advice Bureau.
